We are so happy with how the WWFRM has been going so far, as we have raised over £3,300 / €3,700 / $4,300 so far for Palestinian families, organisations, and solidarity groups and we aren’t even close to done yet!!
Thank you so much to @majorm_band , @punkrarxsolidaria , @rezekimuzik , @bigbigbigthings , @takeshi_evolstak , @knotwork_crusher_crust , @ahmed_eid , Peanut Butter, and Dykes & Friends for all the work so far!!! Thanks also to friends at @piehouse.coop , @leather.head , and @under_a_banished_sky in London for graciously giving us space to fundraise at shows not even on the schedule to help with the families & organisations we are supporting with this festival, we love you!!
We have updated the poster with new shows on the main line-up & solidarity slides (some retroactive). Shout out to @__thesurface__ for their upcoming Punks 4 Palestine gig (unrelated to others of the same name @manchesterpunksforpalestine , @captainajax13 ) in Chicago on 13/12 ! Our friends at @mysteryfleshpitband will be having a show at the same venue on 05/12 as part of the festival, so we love to see the solidarity spreading around!!
Once again, if you are interested in joining the main line-up and are willing to fundraising for the families/organisations we support, or want a shout-out on the other side of our poster–get in touch!
Don’t let anyone lecture you about how little you can do. The burden of proof is reversed: we can do so much, it is up to us just to figure out where/when we begin that work! Join our festival & PAA itself if you want to expand your solidarity and stop being a miserable alienated so-and-so convinced that you can’t contribute anything meaningful! And of course, FREE PALESTINE!!!!
