This is an internal call-out for PAA members to apply for our internal ‘community ‘Fighting Fund’ to help make more local fundraising/Palestine solidarity organising possible! For instructions SEE BELOW!
Since earlier this year, we have begun setting aside a small amount of proceeds (almost exclusively from online T-Shirt sales) for an internal ‘fighting fund’ to help members out around the world.
We are now accepting applications from members for funding for things like: printing T-Shirts/patches/stickers/buttons, renting venues & putting on shows, and potentially for strike funds should you need to pull out of a BDS-violating event.
!!!NOTE: Applications for personal benefit, purchasing equipment, and any non-solidarity related purposes WILL BE REJECTED ON PRINCIPLE!! This fund ONLY exists to help our members to cover ‘gaps’ in their local organising/overcome financial obstacles.
As always, any funds provided will come with the expectation of receipts/transparency on our members’ side.
If you’re interested, please send us an e-mail with the title PAA COMMUNITY FUND REQUEST with the following info in the body:
-Membership/group name
-Amount requested (please leave some for others if you can! aka, try to do a lot with a little!)
-Purpose (please outline how your request will help you concretely advance Palestine solidarity & expand fundraising opportunities for our Palestinian partners)
-Local business(es) for payment
We will continue to set aside small amounts from online T-Shirt sales to keep growing our Fighting Fund while we pursue our bigger fundraising goals. In the meantime, feel free to reach out with any questions! FREE PALESTINE!!
