Tenue joins PAA!

Con orgullo anunciamos la inscripción de TENUE a nuestra red, Punks Contra el Apartheid! Provenientes de A Guarda, Galiza, TENUE representa lo mejor de la tradición internacionalista e descolonial de la península, arraigada a las necesidades y contexto de la comunidad local a la vez que busca alianzas horizontales con otros entes y colectivos a lo largo del mundo, más allá del marco rancio del discurso hegemónico del estado español.

En un momento en el que el estado español se posiciona como defensor del pueblo palestino como táctica política, reconocemos que las victorias que se hayan visto se han realizado gracias al esfuerzo incesante de los pueblos y NO el estado en sí, que más de una vez hemos agarrado con las manos en la masa siguiendo con sus tratados sanguíneos con el estado genocida. Por no hablar de su participación activa en el desplazamiento colonial de los saharauíes y el papel clave que empeña en lo que se llama “Fortaleza Europa,” empujando las ‘fronteras’ de Europa hasta el norte de África y siendo cómplice en la muerte de refugiados y migrantes y la denegación de sus derechos humanos.

Esperamos con ansias nuestra colaboración con TENUE que se basará en la rabia militante que compartimos contra los sistemas de opresión.

We are proud to announce the registration of TENUE to our network, Punks Against Apartheid! Coming from A Guarda, Galiza, TENUE represents the best of the internationalist decolonial tradition from the peninsula, rooted in their local needs and context while looking for horizontal alliances with other entities & collectives around the world, far beyond the rancorous framework of the Spanish state’s mainstream political discourse.

At a time when the Spanish state positions itself as an advocate for the people of Palestine as a political tactic, we recognise that the victories that we have seen have come to be because of the incessant effort of the people and NOT the state in itself, which we have caught more than once red-handed as it continues its bloody trade deals with the genocidal state. This is not to mention its active participation in the colonial displacement of the Sahrawi people and its key role it plays in what is called ‘Fortress Europe’, pushing the ‘birders’ if Europe until the north of Africa and becoming an accomplice in the death of refugees and the denial of their human rights.

We anxiously await our collaboration with TENUE which will be based on the militant rage that we share against systems of oppression.
