Punks Against Apartheid endorses the campaign to cancel the Aichi-Israel Matching Program in Japan!
アパルトヘイトに反対するパンクスは、日本における「Aichi-Israelマッチングプログラム」の中止を求めるキャンペーンを支持します！
What is the Aichi-Israel Matching Program?
Since 2022, the Aichi Prefectural Government in Japan has partnered with the Israel Innovation Authority (IIA) & Startup Nation Central (SNC) to promote collaborations between ‘Israeli’ startups and companies in Aichi.
Despite 21 months of non-stop genocidal war crimes and calls by the local community to cancel this program, this collaboration is belligerently pushing forward to “integrate Israeli cutting-edge technology” into Japan’s manufacturing region.
The Aichi government is normalizing the world’s first AI-powered genocide and tech-driven Apartheid and willfully turning its businesses and workers into genocide collaborators. We must refuse this “innovation-washing” of the genocide of Palestine!
Help us CANCEL this program and divest from Japan-Israel relations!
The Japanese government is actively promoting AI research & development (R&D) to turn Japan into “the world’s most AI-friendly country”.
Aichi, the industrial heartland of Japanese manufacturing and home to Toyota, Kawasaki, & Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, is investing more in aerospace and robotics.
At the same time, the US military is urging Japan to increase its already-doubled defense budget
(currently 2% of GDP–compare to the proposed push from the US to 3.5%! ).
Claiming to promote “Climate, Agri-Food, and Health Tech”, in reality, this “innovation” alliance is in lock-step with Japan’s rapid re-militarization.
In preparation for the integration of more advanced technologies, The Japanese “Self Defense Forces” released its “ethical guidelines” for the use of AI defense tech, indicating its anticipation of the moral quandary of making automated weapons controlled and fed by Big Data and AI to kill people en masse…
As reported in the recent Albanese report on corporate complicity in the genocide: “Israeli tech firms often grow out of military infrastructure and strategy.”
Israel notoriously innovates new weapons and surveillance to kill, maim, monitor, control, and experiment on Palestinians and export worldwide.
This program is a deadly fusion of Israel’s immoral, genocidal tech industry with some of the most advanced manufacturers in the world,
many of which have barely washed their hands of the bloody profits of Japan’s own imperialist wars.
Local and central Japanese governments are already complicit in the genocide:
- “Business as usual”: Japan normalizes relations w/Israeli officials & firms
- JP pension fund is invested in Israeli bonds, Elbit Systems, Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Caterpillar, etc., turning pension-paying citizens into involuntary funders of genocide
- Japan is a key player in the global supply chain for F35s, drones, robots, vision and camera technology, etc. Robots made by FANUC (the only JP company named in the Albanese report) are “dual-use” technologies essential to manufacturing the 155 artillery shells used in the genocide.
- The Japanese Ministry of Defense has conducted demo experiments of Israeli attack drones for possible purchase, and Sumitomo Corporation, Kaigai Corporation, Kawasaki Heavy Industry, and Nippon Aircraft Supply are importing these Israeli drones!
- Mitsubishi Heavy Industries manufactures multiple parts for the IOF’s F35I Adir, which are sent to the Lockheed Martin Final Assembly and Check Out (FACO) facility in Texas. There are only 3 FACO sites worldwide, including one in Aichi. Mitsubishi is also collaborating w/the UK’s BAE Systems and Italy’s Leonardo in developing the next generation of fighter jets–both of which continue to provide weapons systems to Israel.
We Say NO tech collabs with high-tech génocidaires!
20,000+ people in the local community refuse this collaboration and have already petitioned to cancel it! Yet the Aichi government is continuing the program in FY2025, despite the Prefectural Congress having voted unanimously for a ceasefire.
This is why we need your support! The Nagoya Mothers’ Association for Palestinian Children will be submitting a request again to try to cancel the program, which has already cost taxpayers 58 million yen (~US$370K).
PAA calls on all organizations, bands, and allies to answer the call to sign on to the campaign to force Aichi to divest from Israeli tech!
International pressure is necessary, as Japanese governments and companies are particularly sensitive to their public image and corporate reputation.
We need your help to collectively shame them into abandoning the Aichi-Israel Matching Program!

日本の愛知県は2022年以降、イスラエルのスタートアップ企業と愛知県内企業との協力を促すため、イスラエル・イノベーション庁（IIA）とスタートアップ・ネーション・セントラル（SNC）なるものと提携しています。21カ月途切れることなく続くジェノサイド的戦争犯罪と、このプログラムの中止を求める地元コミュニティの呼びかけにもかかわらず、この「イノベーション」協力は、日本で製造業の盛んな愛知県を「イスラエルの最先端テクノロジーに統合する」ために強硬に推し進められています。
愛知県は世界初のAIを活用したジェノサイドと、テクノロジー駆動型のアパルトヘイトを常態化させており、県内企業とその労働者がジェノサイド加担者になることを知ったうえでこれを進めています。私たちはこのパレスチナへの大量虐殺の「イノベーション・ウォッシュ」を拒絶しなければなりません！
このプログラムを停止させ、日本・イスラエル間関係からの投資引き揚げに力を貸してください！
日本政府は、自国を「世界で最もAIフレンドリーな国」にするために、AIの「研究開発（R&D）」を積極的に促進しています。日本の製造業にとって産業的「核心地」であり、トヨタ本社、川崎重工と三菱重工の工場が位置する愛知県は、航空宇宙産業とロボット工業により大きな投資を行っています。同時に、アメリカの軍事関係者は、日本がすでに二倍にした軍事費のさらなる増額を求めています
（現在GDPの2％ですが、米国からは3.5％に増額せよと提案しています！）。
「気候対策テクノロジー、農業・食料テクノロジー、医療テクノロジー」の促進を唱えるこの「イノベーション連盟」は、実際には日本の急速な再軍事化と足並みをそろえているのです。より「発展した」テクノロジーの統合準備のため、日本の自衛隊はAI軍事技術の利用のための「倫理ガイドライン」を発表しました。
このことは、大量殺戮を行うよう自動化された兵器が、ビッグデータとAIに制御され、駆動されることへの道徳的ジレンマを示しています。
ジェノサイドへの企業の加担について調査し、先日発表されたアルバネーゼ報告書で述べられている通り、「イスラエルのテクノロジー企業は、たいてい軍事インフラと軍事戦略から成長して」います。イスラエルは、殺害、身体損傷、監視、管理のための新兵器と監視技術で「イノベーションを起している」ことや、それらの兵器と技術のパレスチナ人に対する使用によって実験していること、それらを世界中に輸出していることでその悪名が知られています。
このマッチングプログラムはイスラエルの不道徳なジェノサイド技術産業を世界有数の先端産業の一部との、破壊的な融合です。
これらの企業の多くは、ほかならぬ日本が帝国主義的事業を行っていた時代に、製造を通して虐殺を引き起こし、そこから利益を上げ、その血まみれの手をぬぐうこともほとんどなかった企業です。
日本の地方自治体と連邦政府はすでに大量虐殺に加担していまする：
- 「通常営業」：日本はイスラエル政府関係者や企業との正常な関係を通常通り維持しています。
- 日本の年金基金はイスラエル国債、エルビット・システムズ、ロッキード・マーティン、ボーイング、キャタピラーなどに投資されており、年金を支払っている人々国民を意図せず大量虐殺の共犯者にしています。
- 日本は、F35、ドローン、ロボット、視覚・カメラ技術などのグローバルサプライチェーンにおいて重要な役割を担っています。（アルバネーゼ報告書の中ではっきり名指しされた唯一の日本企業の）ファナックが製造したロボットは…
- …ガザでのジェノサイドにおいて多用されている155ミリ榴弾の製造に不可欠な「デュアルユース」テクノロジーです。日本の防衛省は、イスラエルの攻撃型ロボットの購入に向けた実証実験を行っており、住友商事、海外物産、川崎重工業、日本エヤークラフトサプライがその輸入を請け負っています。
- 三菱重工業はイスラエル占領軍のF35I アディールの部品を複数製造しており、これらはテキサスにあるロッキード・マーティン社の最終組立・検査施設に集められることになります。最終組立・検査施設は世界に3カ所しかなく、その一つが愛知にあります。三菱重工業は次世代戦闘機の開発のためにイギリスのBAEシステムズやイタリアのレオナルドーー両社ともジェノサイドへの加担企業として知られていますーーとも協力しています。
ハイテク大量虐殺集団との技術提携にノーを突きつけます！
地元のコミュニティでは、何人もの人たちがこのプログラムを拒否しています。すでに2万人以上が中止を求める署名しています。愛知県議会は停戦については全会一致で賛成票を投じました。しかし、愛知県は2025年度もこのプログラムを継続する予定です。
だからこそ、みなさんの支援が必要です！「パレスチナの子ども達を想う名古屋のママの会」は、既に5,800万円（約37万米ドル）もの税金が投入されているこのプログラムの中止を求めて、再度自治体に要請書を提出する予定です。
PAAは、愛知県にイスラエルのテクノロジー企業からのダイベストメント（投資撤退）を迫るキャンペーンへの署名を、すべての団体、バンド、そして支援団体に呼びかけます。
日本の政府や企業は、特に自国のイメージや企業評判に敏感であるため、国際的な圧力が必要です。集団的な力で彼ら・彼女らに恥を思い知らせ、Aichi-Israelマッチングプログラムを断念させるために、みなさんの協力が必要です。
