We are super proud to announce that Genetic_Dissenter ( @genetic_dissenter ) has joined the Punks Against Apartheid network!!
In their own words, Genetic_Dissenter is a “cinematographer/photographer from Los Angeles who occasionally makes art and always wants to smash capitalism. Always down for a skate session!”
We loved Genetic_Dissenter’s brutally honest, super direct, and frankly super punk application form. Because it isn’t that complex–standing for Palestine should be our baseline as artists and workers! As our first artist from L.A., we can’t wait to collaborate on all kinds of fun projects together and keep making our scene an APARTHEID-FREE ZONE.
Every single voice matters as we organise to support the Palestinian struggle. If you’re organising by yourself at this point, just ask yourself–why not do it collectively? Collective power is how we wrench our scenes back from corporate takeover AND make concrete steps towards interrupting the political systems that aspire to erase us on a daily basis.
