We are so excited to announce that Porch Collapse @porch.collapse has joined Punks Against Apartheid!
We have admired Porch Collapse from the moment we learned of their hardcore experimental noise fusion with radical politics with series like NOISE > DRONES & DRONE > DRONES. Their fundraising for Palestinian causes is impressive and something we hope to learn from as we start to work together.
In particular, we would like to use this opportunity to boost Porch Collapse’s most recent project, Noise 4 UAK (Noise for Um al-Kheir) @noise4uak ! PLEASE go give them a follow. In their words:
“We are people who make noise and challenge the systems we live under, subverting dominant paradigms in an empathetic and stateless noise community. We raise awareness, make noise and gather aid for those in need. We support the people of Um al-Kheir. The project was created and co-organized by porch collapse and Hanna Hazzan ( @sbnbd35mm ) with the intention of rolling out a sequence of fundraising endeavors and passing 100% of the proceeds to the community council in Um al-Kheir via local activists.”
We salute Porch Collapse for ‘bringing the noise’ to our growing collective. As punks, that’s our bread & butter! Because noise isn’t just a DISRUPTION of the status quo, it is the ‘main’s hum’ of the universe itself–that anarchic, ever-present, endless, life-giving cosmic vibration in which we live, move, and have our being. ‘Experimental’ noise is actually closer to our inner selves than the most perfectly constructed music theory, by its very nature!! And it is by tapping into that inner power–closer to us all than our jugular veins!–that we become radicalised. For isn’t that what ‘radical’ means, after all? *Going to the root of things* and *getting back in tune with its shape, its feel, its contours–its rhythm?
NOISE WILL CONQUER ALL, PALESTINE WILL WIN. SOLIDARITY!!

Slide 1: Image with a faded kuffiyeh pattern in the background overlaid with text & image blocks.
On top, it reads ‘Announcing!’ diagonally overlaid in white on a black strip, and below, two circular logos outlined in white on their own black strip.
The one on the left is an oval logo with the words ‘porch collapse’ in pink digital-style Courier font.
The one on the right is the Punks Against Apartheid logo, which shows a fist with a spikey bracelet punching through the apartheid wall & the text ‘PUNKS AGAINST APARTHEID’ around the circle’s edge.
Slide 2: Apartheid and Genocide against Palestinians cannot be voted or protested away. Direct action against the perpetrators and their suppliers is required. For the past 2 years our artistic and social efforts have shifted to towards supporting efforts to fight against the system that enables the murder of civilians and their defenders in Palestine and the West Bank.
Slide 3: We have had solidarity with PAA always, but it’s time to officially join and support the expanding the network of empathetic groups. Together we are stronger, we can organize effective campaigns, take larger impactful actions and protect each other. Solidarity.
Slide 4: A circular logo of two aux cables, one white and one green, over a red background, surrounded by the text NOISE FOR UMM AL-KHEIR
Below, a long horizontal banner depicting a punk mosh pit, with large red squiggly letters depicting PUNKS AGAINST APARTHEID on top, and a punk giving the finger on the right saying ‘racism ain’t punk.’
