We have some new shows to add to our poster + a correction for a mislabelled show (@tenuepunx apologies!! 06/12, NOT 29/11!), so here is the brand new poster for our WORLDWIDE WINTER FESTIVAL OF RESISTANCE MUSIC! (WWFRM)
We have also added a new ‘Solidarity Shows’ slide, where we want to boost other community fundraisers happening around the world during the WWFRM period, including the @manchesterpunksforpalestine benefit on Nov. 14th, the similarly-named but separate Punks 4 Palestine benefit in Brighton on the same day (@captainjax13 ) & the drag fundraiser at @kingsfactoryparis on Nov. 26th!
If you want your show on the Solidarity Slide, get in touch!! And if you agree to raise a % of money for one of our families, then we’ll put you on the main slide(s)!
From our original announcement: “To celebrate reaching 40 members worldwide, bands from all across the Punks Against Apartheid network will be putting on benefit shows in different member regions from early November to the end of December. Some are planned entirely by PAA and others in conjunction with local partners, but all funds raised will go towards friends & causes in Palestine! Within PAA, we will be focusing on our Bi-Weekly Highlight families during this period, individual ‘matched’ families (although some fundraisers will go towards Palestinian organisations).”

As we never tire of saying: mutual aid is not liberation. But you’re kidding yourself if you think that mutual aid and permanent fundraising are not a baseline expectation of the solidarity movement at this time. We hope to continue expanding our fundraising for our friends & comrades in Palestine while we also politicise our communities into the political action that is necessary to support Palestinian resistance.
