FASCIST TOUR ON THIN ICE!

“WHITE CHAUVINIST” REALISES PEOPLE ACTUALLY READ THE THINGS HE WRITES INTO THE WORLD

The campaign to push racists out of our music scene continues with the further cancellation of shows associated with Proud Boy associate, BDS-violator, & open racist Michale Graves’ European “Sticks and Stones” tour. Despite a title explicitly invoking the idea that “sticks and stones may break his bones but words will never hurt him,” Graves seems to be realising that the well-known adage doesn’t protect against the boomerang effect of one’s own idiotic verbal self-destruction.

We urge @marrs_barmusic , @yorkshireman_venue , @thesteelbarvenue , @jacs_abderdare , @holy_diver_sk , @mobydickclub , @stageliveconciertos , @salalopez , @salazerotgn , @rcaclublx to take us to the finish line and drop Graves’ remaining tour dates. And we urge our friends & followers to pitch in to make our scene unwelcome to white supremacist ‘punks’ who seem to have no problem touring in the genocidal Zionist Entity to boot.

Why is it that fascists, Zionists, and their apologists try to both lions & lambs? It is a question as long as these hateful, colonial movements have been around. In this sense, an old fart once said some famous words (amongst a whole lot of other crap that’s worth skipping, to be honest) about racist chauvinists that ironically still ring true about this paradoxical figure–‘Schrödinger’s fascist’–today. We will leave them here for your reflection:

“Never believe that anti‐Semites are completely unaware of the absurdity of their replies. They know that their remarks are frivolous, open to challenge. But they are amusing themselves, for it is their adversary who is obliged to use words responsibly, since he believes in words. The anti‐Semites have the right to play. They even like to play with discourse for, by giving ridiculous reasons, they discredit the seriousness of their interlocutors. They delight in acting in bad faith, since they seek not to persuade by sound argument but to intimidate and disconcert. If you press them too closely, they will abruptly fall silent, loftily indicating by some phrase that the time for argument is past. It is not that they are afraid of being convinced. They fear only to appear ridiculous or to prejudice by their embarrassment their hope of winning over some third person to their side.”
