As PAA continues to grow, we are beginning to build internal infrastructure to keep our network healthy. Currently, our Accountability/Welfare Affinity Group (AWAG) has begun researching conflict resolution models and methods to help mediate disagreements & addressing conflict or interpersonal harm that could put our work in jeopardy.
In particular, we believe it is important to build this structure before we actually need it, so we can respond thoughtfully and not only in ‘crisis mode’! So that’s why we would like, as AWAG continues to survey members and engage in its own research, to reach out to all of you for some ‘crowd-sourced’ ideas!
Are you familiar with any local or international collectives/orgs that have done sound work around radical/abolitionist/transformative justice that you would recommend? We are looking to connect with orgs that might provide trainings, workshops, de-escalation support, mental health support, and more.
We are also interested in workbooks, FAQs, or other documentation that can be used for collective study. We’d love for our wider community to contribute to this research that will be a valuable resource to our collective!
Please get in touch with is if you know of ANY organisations in your region that we could connect with by dropping us a line at PAA-WELFARE@TUTA.IO! We have members all over the world, so we are curious to hear from all of you!!
